I. Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Personally identifiable data are treated confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as with this Privacy Policy. It is impossible to safeguard your data completely against access by third parties.

 

 

II. Server Log Files

When you visit our website, the following information is stored automatically:

 

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system
  • referrer URL
  • hostname of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request

 

The data are collected exclusively for data security purposes.

 

 

III. Newsletter

When signing up for our newsletter, you need to provide your e-mail address, title and name. The data are gathered and stored for the purpose of delivering the newsletter to the customer. They are stored in accordance with the statutory data retention periods.

 

 

IV. Order Placement

Upon placing an order, you are asked to provide information on your company, country, state, VAT ID (for EU member states), title, first and last name, e-mail address, IDEA license key and IDEA license type. These data are required for delivery. Audicon’s administration department receives an internal e mail containing your ordering information. Administration then imports the following data to Microsoft Dynamics NAV: Customer name, Magento order number, IDEA license key. The data are stored in Microsoft Dynamics NAV in accordance with the statutory data retention periods.

 

 

V. Login

When logging into your account, you are asked to enter your e-mail address and password. This is required in order to identify you and direct you to your account. The data are stored in Magento in accordance with the statutory data retention periods.

 

 

VI. Contact Form

When filling in the contact form, you are required to provide your name and e-mail address, company and country. These data are used to contact the customer, to reach the customer in case of any questions and to arrange appointments. The data are stored in accordance with the statutory data retention periods.

 

 

VII. Distributor Account

Distributors have special user accounts. There they can create accounts for their customers by entering their data. Their customers then receive an e-mail notification informing them about the creation of their accounts.
These distributor accounts are created in the back end by Audicon. Distributors are assigned their distribution territories. They are able to place orders for their customers only within their own territories.

 

 

VIII. Google Analytics

The website “de.marketplace.audicon.net” uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer to analyze your use of the website. Generally, the information generated by the cookie concerning your use of this website is transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA. However, we have implemented an IP anonymization tool on our website to protect your data. This way, Google will shorten your IP address within member states of the European Union and other states which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
